GameSlate helps youth baseball coaches, parents, umpires, training facilities and leagues schedule games, lessons and clinics. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, phone number if you add one, city and ZIP code, and the roles you use (coach, parent, umpire, instructor, league).
- Teams and players: team names, rosters, and player details that a parent or coach enters, such as name, league age and jersey number.
- Activity in the app: games, open dates, umpire requests, lessons, clinic sign-ups, league schedules, invoices and notifications.
- Basic technical data: information needed to keep you signed in and keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
To run GameSlate: show your schedule, connect teams, umpires, facilities and leagues, send notifications you ask for, create invoices, and suggest nearby teams or umpires using your ZIP code. Other users see only what they need, for example your name and city, never your exact address or your email.
Children
GameSlate accounts are for adults. Player information is entered by a parent, guardian, coach or league, and is shown only to the people involved with that player's team, lessons or league. A parent can ask us to correct or delete their child's information at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that host and run GameSlate (such as our database and hosting providers), under agreements to protect it, and anyone the law requires. Card payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details directly under its own privacy policy; GameSlate never stores full card numbers. Lesson videos are shared only with the facility's staff and the player's guardians. When you book with a facility or join a league, that organization sees the details needed for your booking or team.
Your choices
You can update your profile in the app, and you can ask us to export or delete your data by emailing hello@gameslate.co.
